Is this how ALL normal people feel after they like someone for like 2 years, and then they find out that nothing is going to really happen between them and their crush?

I know this sounds VERY silly, but I really thought something would happen between me and a guy that is really special to me. Now, come to find out, AFTER we confessed to each other that we liked each other in December, he tells me he "definitely likes me as a friend" and he doesn't think us liking each other in the other way would be cool, because we live across the world from each other.

THIS REALLY STINKS. on my part anyway...

I've realized Love has to come from both sides (obviously), but it doesn't come easily, in this matter anyway. I admit, this is silly, when I, a 16 yr. old, who has never had a date, is talking about love, but it just really hits home. I just really want someone to be there for me and comfort me with all of the struggles I go through. I've never really experienced much of an inch of love from a guy. This experience, I think was supposed to make me stronger, as a daughter of God. If it is meant to be, it will come, but if not, I WILL find someone. I just need to learn to be patient, and know that pain and broken hearts do come in the process, it just takes time and understanding for it to heal. I know I will survive through this, it just hurts now.

Just don't take advantage of the one you love dearly. Girls like me, strive to find that everyday. Whether it's just a smile form a guy in the hallway, or a first date. It's love, care, and support, and that is what a daughter of God wants to receive from her future eternal companion, when she finds him.

Some of you have found him. *cough* April. Just realize how lucky you are to have him and love him with all of your heart.

Ugh I am soooo depressing and pathetic, but anyways that is my drama for the time being!
I just want a date for Homecoming, and this is what spills out! lol
