"first date"

you know you are growing up when your daddy looks at you and says "I heard you have some news for me..."

and you just look at him and say, "you already know huh. mom told you."

and he just smiles at you plainly and asks, "are you excited?"
and he gives another grin.


Yes thats right i'm going on my first date with my best friend soon :)

it's really more like a "Hey it's your birthday, and we're friends. let's go hang out, and go to a movie. You can pick. Oh and haha you've never had your first date, so i guess i'm technically your first one, since we're gonna be alone, and such."

thats pretty much what he told me. haha.

but i'm super excited! (:

and it's going to be on my 17th birthday! friday the 13th!

it's more like friends hanging out, but i don't care.
it's still (kind of) my first date (:
and i'm gonna make sure it's not so weird (:
hahaha i hope.....

man i'm getting old.

and i know that Heavenly Father has answered a personal prayer (:
